Years ago, the peoples of this region lived in harmony with the land, striking a balance which can be seen in the countless acres of pristine beauty that make up Belize’s natural resources. But over time, as populations have grown and new economic models have taken root, there is greater and greater pressure being placed on that same land.

In order to meet the two-fold goal of improving living standards while maintain nature’s pristine beauty, new technologies and ideas must be put in place. Simply put, Belize cannot maintain itself if current agriculture and economic practices do not adapt with the times. So we focus on delivering those new technologies and ideas.

As the people of southern Belize are by and large an agrarian society, we have focused our efforts and resources on improving the way in which agriculture is accomplished. We champion the following list of best practices. Click on any of the names to learn more about each concept.
