With support from Belize's Protected Areas Conservation Trust (PACT) Ya'axché implemented a project entilted, "Strengthening the Southern Maya Mountains' Core Protected Areas". The project's central focus was on the management and conservation of Bladen Nature Reserve including protecting and preserving the biodiversity, cultural resources and watershed features of the Reserve as an integral part of the Maya Mountain region and in accordance with the guiding principles of the National Protected Area System Plan. We are proud to say it is a huge success.
